Today we reviewed the Photo History Scavenger Hunt and discussed briefly the "Major Players" in the invention and development of photography. A few of the important people and things involved in the discovery and progression of photography through the ages include the Camera Obscura, Joseph Nicephore Niepce, Daguerre, Johann Heinrich Schultz, John Herschel, George Eastmond, James Clerk Maxwell, and the Lumiere Brothers.
We also began making pinhole cameras, which we will try to finish next class period, then we will spend a couple of days making photographs with them. Please bring a box for your pinhole camera if you have not already done so! |
